Noedel-PublisherJEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Motorists may soon notice the preparations the Missouri Department of Transportation is making in Central Missouri for the possibility of flooded state routes. MoDOT crews are preparing the routes that will serve as detours should major highways near the Missouri River flood in the mid-Missouri area. Crews are installing posts and placing the detour signs on the ground in these locations so they can be quickly positioned should floodwaters cause closures. Importance to me:

Noedel-PublisherWings-A-Blazin' hosts local kids, grades 4th through 8th, tonight from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. There is a $3.00 cover charge. The kids will gather at Wings' back patio, where a DJ will play music. Kids will enjoy unlimited Pepsi products, including new Pepsi Glacier Blasts. And there will be drawings for prizes, too. Eighteen young people attended the event last week. Even more are expected tonight. Youth from New Haven schools and Montgomery County schools are also invited. Importance to me:
