The Montgomery County Commission voted unanimously yesterday to approve the plan for a $75 million high-tech factory near Wellsville.  In a roll-call vote, the vote was 3 to 0 in favor.

The roots to CountyNewsLIVE.com go back to a blog created on March 6, 2008 focused on the tiny rural Missouri town Berger, Missouri.  The blog was named BergerWithCheese.com.  The blog was founded by Jeff Noedel, a new resident of Berger.  Noedel dedicated the blog to the memory of his grandfather, Herbert A. MontgomeryAndMe has learned that local volunteer firefighter Lucas Bryson was the first to spot a funnel cloud earlier this afternoon south of Wellsville. He called 9-1-1 to alert authorities about the funnel cloud, and the county sirens were immediately sounded. The funnel cloud did not touch down, but he did take a family in need of immediate shelter to Grace Lutheran Church where they are currently located while the storms pass through the area.

We have seen minor wind damage in Montgomery City and we are experiencing high winds heading north to the Wellsville area.
