The common grey squirrel is no stranger to every county in Missouri. Montgomery County surely has no shortage. As a child the squirrel was one of my grandpa’s favorite game animals to hunt. We would walk the woods listening for the scamper of their little feet as they played among the leaves. Inevitably I would always find the need to start talking if I felt we were getting within shooting range. No wonder my grandpa often left me on the porch to keep my grandma company. Importance to me:
