Gasconade County R-1 School District is soliciting sealed bids for a surplus 2002 GMC (Type A) van school bus built by Thomas Bus Company. The bus has 128,201 +/-miles.  The bus has a fine body, but the engine and transmission are in need of repair. The bus is being sold as is. The reserve for the bus is $1500.00. Bids are due to the superintendent’s office at 170 Blue Pride Drive, Hermann, by 4:00pm on Monday, June 4 2012. Arrangements to inspect the bus can be made by calling Mark Brooks at 1-573-486-2116 extension 1306.
