Peoples Savings Bank this week announced new services available to existing and new customers to make their banking experience simpler, more convenient and personal.

Ron Kraettli, VP and Chief Information Officer announced three new technology services that will assist customers with their day to day banking needs.

Greater Montgomery County Economic Development Council (GMCEDC) held the first quarterly meeting of their contributors and partners on Thursday, February 16.

The event was held at the new Porta-King Building Systems expansion facility and included over forty local leaders in business, government, education and civic organizations.

Today, Ameren Missouri, filed an electric rate increase request with the Missouri Public Service Commission (MPSC). Ameren Missouri is committed to providing its customers with safe, reliable, affordable and environmentally responsible energy. To achieve these objectives, the company has made significant investments in its energy infrastructure, some of which are not currently included in its electric rates.

Area residents will have an opportunity to celebrate Mardi Gras in Hermann on February 18 at a Fasching Ball, sponsored by the Hermann Area Chamber of Commerce.

The event will be held at the Hermannhof Festhalle and will include music by the Bluff-Tones and food catered by the Hermann Wurst Haus.

The  Montgomery County Rotary Club’s Winter BBQ is now accepting orders . This is being held on Friday January 20, 2012 at the Knights of Columbus Hall .

Order your lunch (available for pick-up or delivery from 11:00 to 1:00) by Monday January 16th to support your local Rotary Club. We’ll prepare a limited number of walk-in orders the day of the BBQ; however, to ensure a great lunch – make sure to get your order in ahead of time!

Peoples Savings Bank held their annual Christmas Party and Awards Banquet at Loutre Shore Country Club, north of Hermann, on December 14.  This Banquet awarded employees for their longevity, noted retirements as well as named the Peoples Savings Bank employee of the year.
