The following information was provided by Jonesburg City Hall. We will line up at Jerry Schwartz's bus lot, turn at the bank, turn at the post office, go down Main Street, turn at the auction house, and end up at the community building (which will be decorated on the inside by Sellenriek Const.)
The Lions Float will be the last in the parade and it will be carrying Santa. Once at the hall the children can meet Santa and get their picture taken with him. Importance to me:

Hot dogs, chili, lemonade, and hot chocolate will be served. There will also be games, hayrides, and a bonfire. A costume contest will be held at 6 pm. The only cost for each participant is one canned or other non-perishable food item or a new toy, which will be used in upcoming holiday community food baskets. Importance to me:

Fans of local foods have been organizing to build a stable year round support network of producers of locally grown foods, and people committed to purchasing locally grown foods. By meeting once a month to celebrate and exchange ideas and enthusiasm. Another gathering is upon us, next Wednesday March 7th at the McKittrick Farmers Mercantile.
Reach Community Church in Montgomery City is sponsoring a Fall Family Festival on Mon., Oct. 31 from 5 to 8 pm. The general public is invited and everything is free of charge.
The Bellflower Youth Club is hosting a Fall Festival on Sat., Oct. 22 from 4 pm to 8 pm.
