There are lots of ideas for Mother's Day gifts at the market and everything for a great feast, too.

Here's a great spring recipe to try:

Crustless Quiche

1/2 lb      Houston's Home grown breakfast links or ham, diced
6         farm fresh eggs from the market
2 cups    washed and finely chopped spring greens, green onions,
             radish greens, tomatoes, your choice.

1/8 cup     finely chopped herbs or 1/2 T. dried
            salt and pepper to taste
  1 Tblsp   oil or butter

Turn oven on to broil.  In an oven proof or cast iron skillet brown ham or sausage in oil or butter.  Add chopped veggies to meat in pan.  Break eggs into a bowl and whisk as for scrambled eggs in pan.  Add herbs and seasonings to eggs then pour over sauteed meat and veggies in pan.   Place pan under broiler and continue cooking until eggs are barely firm in the center.  Remove from oven.  Let rest slightly before slicing.  Great with home made bread and a spring salad.
