Weather forecast beautiful for tonight's Hero Night kids' carnival, cooler for football game

The weather is forecast to be perfect for the “Hero Night Under the Lights: Kid Edition” event tonight (Fri., Oct. 21) at Montgomery County High School before and during the home football game against South Callaway.

The
Weather Channel says the temperature will be 60 degrees for the kids' carnival which will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm.  The carnival will consist of a coloring circle, a reading circle, and other fun carnival games for children.

It says it will be about 55 at 7 pm when the game starts, going down to 47 by 10 pm, so if bundle up if you plan to stay until the end of the game.

Half time Hero Night festivities include performances by the MCHS band, choir, and cheerleaders, as well as a hero parade.  Other events include a silent auction, a light bulb Christmas ornament sale, and a 60/40 Raffle (with 60% going towards the Dolly Parton Imagination Library).
